JMJ Information Services was initially started in early 2003 by Joan M. Jackson.
Joan had a vision of using her passion for, and extensive skills in, business information research and copy writing to help businesses identify and target the needs of their market. She meets those needs by producing and delivering customized business an competitive research results, and information marketing tools for her clients. She has been an information researcher for over 25 years.
Mrs. Jackson holds a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Simmons College (Boston, MA.). She has worked for a Fortune 500 corporation, a Silicon Valley-based IT computer peripherals corporation, and various types of libraries in the New England area, and in California for over twenty-nine years.
She is currently an Adult Services/Reference Librarian in northern California, where she's also responsible for its' small business/entrepreneurship and personal finance collection. She creates and teaches classes at the library that are based on small business and personal finance issues . She has also written several informational and tips booklets, and has written reviews for various information research-related journals.
